I've always been passionate about helping and healing people.  After more than 15 years in the medical field, I felt it was time for a new route to helping people feeling better.  I found my answer in the holistic healing of Massage Therapy.  I attended Rasmussen College where I received my Associates degree in Surgical Technology and then went on to receive my Massage Therapy License at Mpower Career Training.  I use my advanced medical knowledge and diverse experience to help pinpoint your exact needs for pain relief and improved quality of life.  My strategies for massage are to correct postural imbalances, relieve stress and pain, and improve overall muscle function.  Through different modalities and approaches such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching and cupping, we can tailor a plan just for you!

Keep an eye out for new services and holiday gift certificates coming up.

Meet Shannon

Massage Therapy

Shannon S.,

Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist

I always knew that I was a natural caregiver from a young age, so I went on a journey to find my niche in the healthcare field.  I originally started in the nursing field working as a CNA for Misericordia Home but felt something was missing.  A personal injury is what brought me to discover Massage Therapy.  I was so impressed with the difference massage made in my healing process and life that I immediately knew it was my calling.

I attended the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy and have been a Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist since 2018.  There, I learned and now specialize in musculoskeletal pathologies, sports injuries, and stress reduction.  I also expanded my studies with an externship working at Loyola University and by volunteering at the Chicago Marathon to evaluate and treat the athlete’s conditions post event.

The last several years of my career I worked at one of the top spas in Chicago where I was the lead Therapist in treating neck and shoulder tension, TMJ, joint pain and dysfunctions, sports injuries, and chronic pain.  My specialties and certifications also include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal and sports massage.

In all my sessions, I am focused on performing the highest level of care with detailed, Therapeutic Massage work.
