Traditional Thai massage is an ancient form of bodywork that is used for whole system healing. With the use of techniques like acupressure, compression and assisted yoga postures, Thai massage delivers restorative effects to the body and mind. Muscles are manipulated to stretch and relax, and meridian (energy) lines are stimulated to deliver healing energy throughout the body.


During the treatment session, the client remains fully clothed. You are asked to wear comfortable clothing that is loose fitting or has a stretchable material. Thai massage is performed on the floor on a large comfortable, cushioned mat.


The Therapist will use their hands, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to create a flow of rhythmic movements on the body of the recipient. Areas of the body are compressed, stretched or rocked in order to relieve tension and clear energy blockages. Slow deep breaths are encouraged to enhance relaxation and help release tension from the body and mind.
